NKOWlifelight ::: Favorites fine? that bridge is over 50 years old, maybe even close to 70, and as far as I know the government has done nothing to repair the supporting structure so what happened in minneapolis could darn well happen here as well, but there will likely be more injured or dead if that does happen. I used to drive the pattullo everyday, sure the pinch (aka the corner at the end is a bitch but the bridge isn't that bad. misterchill ::: Favorites 5 people have died in different accidents in Surrey in the past WEEK. Not *that* is a scary statistic. Almost all accidents happen in the late night or early morning, when the drivers are tired, impatient or just plain drunk. The first thing they should "fix", in my opinion, is to add cameras to catch the irresponsible drivers. It's a shame for sure, but this accident would not have been avoided if there was a center-lane barrier.
