yancur ::: Favorites On the other hand, many Christians (obviously NOT ALL!) acted in accord with their beliefs, and used their religion as an excuse to do evil. (Just like Stalin used communist collectivist ideas to take away land off the poor farmers). The problem here is that the moderate Christians use the same label as those extremists, and they are abusing it. How often have I heard, "Look there are 2 billions of us Christians! It's like saying that Stalin, Hitler, Mao were all a-vampirist and did all the atrocities in the name of a-vampirism. yancur ::: Favorites OK, the problem is this. NO Christian would ever say, that he himself is not a True Christian.. Then you have to have an objective criteria to discern true from false. To say those who do good are true Christians is not enough. Hitler said that killing all Jews is good and in accord with the will of God. And many believed him.. yancur ::: Favorites There is a big problem though. You say it's love. What is more, love for God or love for people? Jesus says it's love for God. But to love God means to obey him, right? What does God wants? Well among other things to kill all disbelievers. So a true Christian is someone who is going to kill anyone who disbelieves in Jesus and Yahwe? Besides there are so many contradiction in the Bible that you can pick one way or the other.
