It was recorded on August 31, 1969 (four months after their debut album was released). This was filmed at the Texas Motor Speedway in Lewisville, TX (just outside Dallas) as the band was participating in the Texas International Pop Festival. It's estimated that between 100,000-150,000 attended this 3 day festival. You'll notice that Walt Parazaider has a sub in this footage. This old hippie footage always had a tendency to have the video and the audio out of sync for "artistic purposes". I wish they hadn't done this, but it's still classic footage. Enjoy!
