Andrew72287 ::: Favorites This is actually the first leg of his In The Flesh tour from 1999, I will be uploading the rest of the show soon. It includes gems such as What God Wants and the Powers That Be 07-02-14 18:32:57 _____________________________________________________
FloydianFemme ::: Favorites I saw the In The Flesh tour in New Jersey in 1999 and he did not sing this song. Saw him again last week 5/24/07 and last year 9/12-13/06 in New York City. He sang it to a different arrangement, but the original arrangement is the best. 07-05-28 22:27:35 _____________________________________________________

poodle720 ::: Favorites Roger Waters May 22, 2007 Atlanta, GA tickets on sale now 07-03-11 23:01:48 _____________________________________________________
tportillo ::: Favorites I like The Pink Floyd version better.. Gilmours voice is far better than Rogers. He was the composer but Gilmour had the voice and h's an amazing guitar player,besides when they tour is Gilmour,Mason and Wright no comparison. definetely one of the best. I've seen Roger live too (Radio Kaos in LA) good concert but nothing compare to Floyd. T.P. 07-06-01 18:45:47 _____________________________________________________
Chr1551 ::: Favorites uhhmm waters sung lead vocals on the original, gilmour backup 07-06-14 00:25:16 _____________________________________________________
Chr1551 ::: Favorites oh yea, his vocals were altered, which is why many people don't realise it was waters, but he is actually singing lead on the original, live both him and gilmour would sing it together. I believ the story was that waters was originally supposed to sing both welcome to the machine and have a cigar, but his voice was so worn out from the recording sessions for shine on you crazy diamond, that they had to alter it in welcome to the machine and get Roy harper as a guest on have a cigar. 07-06-14 00:44:08 _____________________________________________________ |
