poptheman1 ::: Favorites Whoo!! Eww... Whoohoo!!! Hahaha! thats what they said. 07-08-29 11:16:38 _____________________________________________________
LaRee11 ::: Favorites omg omg omg that was awesome!!! 07-08-28 15:05:26 _____________________________________________________
imleavingyou ::: Favorites omfg i love ghost busters!!! 07-08-26 22:49:01 _____________________________________________________
carubio1 ::: Favorites You are right. That was a typo. It is 78% nitrogen. thanks for catching my error. 07-08-18 08:22:40 _____________________________________________________
trgerhpy ::: Favorites i highly doubt that the atmosphere is 78 % argon because we would be dead, i think u ment nitrogen. 07-08-18 00:20:54 _____________________________________________________
RaiohTheHunter ::: Favorites Hurray! A huge-ass marshmallow! 07-08-16 03:18:09 _____________________________________________________
DSMeTailer ::: Favorites This is NOTHING like "elephant toothpaste" you artard! The chemicals used for this are probably similar to those used for expanding packing foam, which does practically the same thing, only slower. 07-08-11 20:01:03 _____________________________________________________
DSMeTailer ::: Favorites Yes, you are mistaken. Actually, if anything were to combust, it would be the atmospheric gas, as it contains oxygen, as well as several fuels (hydrogen being the most prevalent) though not in a large enough concentration. Pure O2 will not burn because it has nothing TO burn. 07-08-11 19:49:09 _____________________________________________________
TheRealShotty ::: Favorites yeah what they said. oxygen isnt flammable but promotes a more intense burn of the fuel. the more oxygen present causes a more intense/rapidly burning fire. like nitrous oxide commonly used in cars/racing. when burned it releases oxygen which in turn makes the fuel in the engine burn hotter, faster, and more complete. 07-08-11 14:45:17 _____________________________________________________
carubio1 ::: Favorites Let's put this to rest. Oxygen is NOT flammable. The more oxygen present the easier it is for something to "burn". Things that will not "burn" in air can readily "burn" in pure oxygen. That is why pure oxygen is dangerous. Dry air is made up of about 78% argon, 21% oxygen, and the rest is argon, carbon dioxide and other gases. Take it from your friendly neighborhood chemistry teacher. 07-08-06 17:28:48 _____________________________________________________ |
