The rest of the building was supported with concrete cores. Concrete is fire resistant, thus the rest of the structure remained. WTC only contained concrete on the office floors. There rest of the structure was built with steel cores. Plus, an aircraft taking out 1/4 of the support at the upper floors hastens its failure. __________________________________________________ | |
